​​​​​​​For 20+ years Google Search has connected Canadians to the information and news they’re searching for. In the past decade alone, interest in “breaking news” has increased roughly 5x. With all this searching, Canadians’ ability to “just google it” has become a reflex. In an era where access to news matters more than ever, we simply wanted to remind Canadians of the role Google plays in connecting them to the news they’re searching for.

Besides being one of the highest tested spots, the campaign has had such a strong internal response and positive results, that we’re taking this very Canadian campaign and templatizing it for global markets.
